World Test Championship Final : Australia beat India by 209 Runs On Day 5

After Winning the toss and bowling first IN WORLD TEST CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL 2023 became quite shocking for Indian captain Rohit Sharma as it was 280 runs Required in 97 overs on stumps day 4.

DAY 5 started as India was 160 for three and they required another 280 runs with 7 wickets in hand. Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane were on the crease. Kohli was looking in good touch but as the match started on day 5 India started losing wickets.

1st Kohli Returned to the pavilion after scoring 49 runs in the 49th over caught Smith Bowled Scott Boland then Ravindra Jadeja in the same over. Rahane who was playing the anchor role got out in 57th over. After Rahane rest all batsmen could score 20 more runs and the team was out on 232 runs in 1st session day 5. Australia won the match by 207 runs and became new test champions team.

After winning the WTC final Australia has Become the 1st team to win ALL icc championship titles 5 times ODI World Champions 2-time Champions Trophy titles 1 t20 title and 1 World Test Championship Title. After winning 9 ICC titles Australia has become the most successful time in the cricketing world.

Australia played well and kept India on backfoot from the start of the match. 1st their batting then the bowling department did a great job. After losing quick wickets they remain stuck on the plan and did not lose the focus. On the other hand India after going short of 196 runs was already in trouble and their bowling was better in 2nd innings but the total was 440 and no team till now chased that total in test history.
