Babar Azam Went Passed Legends to Achieve Fastest 5000 Runs in the ODI

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has become the batter to score the fastest 5000 runs in the ODI format. He Achieved This milestone in his 97th broke South Africa’s Hashim Amla’s Record of 5000 runs in 101 Innings.

After a Splendid Knock of 107 runs in 117 balls against New Zealand, Babar Azam managed to break another Record. Babar Azam edged passed Hashim Amla and became fastest batter to score 5000 runs in his 97th ODI inning. After this West Indian Legend Sir Vivan Richard moved to number 3 he scored 5000 runs in 114 innings. India’s Star Batter Virat Kohli moved to number 4 he scored 5000 runs in 114 innings. Australia’s Opening batter David Warner is now on 5th position as he scored 5000 runs in 115 innings.

Babar scored his 18th ODI century after a good 107 runs against New Zealand in the 4th ODI match of the series at the National Stadium Karachi. Leading from the front he helped Pakistan to win the match. Babar is now 2 centuries away from getting another record for the fastest 20 centuries in the next 10 innings.

Pakistan was o 5th position with a rating of 106 before the PAK VS NZ 5-match series. As a result of winning the fourth game, Pakistan has risen to the top. After losing the series, New Zealand dropped from second to fifth place.. Australia (113.286) is now 2nd and India (112.638) is in 3rd. to Maintain the Current Ranking Pakistan needs to Clean Sweep 5 matches ODI series. If Pakistan lost the final match they will move down to the number 3 position and Australia reclaiming their No.1 ranking.
